Just Another Casual Day OFF?!

Yesterday Saturday of March 28th I started my 3 days break after finally working for 10 days STRAIGHT!! OMFG!! Oh well at least I finally gotta chill and not set a clock in my head!! Oh well so today nothing much actually woke up as usual and then waited for KC to come back and headed out for a walk towards the inner part of our Bad Soden town and up to a high hill of another disctrict which also known as Neuenhain if I am not mistaken just like Damansara Utama to Kelana Jaya or so but in an uphill manner!! Anyway we started walking by 2p.m. in the afternoon and just took our time walking up the long hill stretch which look staggering by sight which also took us sometime to climb it up to the top of the hill to another small town. Oh well as we walk along the road up to the hill we stumble upon a Thai Express restaurant which was sort of in a comtemporary house building or so caught out attention and went to check it out and all. The price was reasonable towards what our budget is and it was kind of a shabby place but then we werent so hungry yet at the moment so we decided to continue walking upwards to the hill and check it out first. But as usual the weather here sucks at times a light shower falls upon our dearly heads and we went to the opposite Ramada Hotel to avoid the short shower and also to use their toilet!! Lol. After that we continued our journey and along the way we took snaps of the gorgeous scenery around us and surprisingly the sun suddenly shone on us as we slowly climbed uphill. Near towards the hill we spotted a orchard farm or so which was whittered during the winter but also as spring as about to start we feel that fruits and vegetable may blossom from there or maybe not just guessing around about it. KC took most of the pics due to the fact I forgotten to take my camera along with me so thanks to KC for providing the pictures. Finally we climbed up to the top which is a town called Neuenhain really like a small cute town with small winding roads and all. And so as what we always do we explore around!! While walking we saw a chinese restaurant with an olden door deco which was kinda cute in this small little town like a small little china or something within it. Moreover it was about 4.30 p.m. or so at that time and both of us were kinda hungry already. However, the worst case is that all shops were having interval and will open by 5.30 p.m. only and we were devestated. Nonetheless, Thai Express came to our mind and we slowly walked downhill towards Thai Express to sort of fill up our stomach. Yeah we know wer are eating non-stop lately but its a good thing though we get to taste different foods in different conditions and environment. And once in the restaurant the environment was cozy and partly all the workers were actually Thai and we spotted the kitchen as it was partly opened to be able to get a view of it, so it was kinda cool for like asians to be workings around in Germany and especially for Thai's being there was kinda shocking!! Cool indeed!! And well we strolled through menu and I order a Tom Yum Goong and a Basil Green Curry Stir Fried Beef with rice which was rated with 2 hot chilli but definitely in the end it didnt even cause or even touched any spiciness in me eventhough I do not eat much of a spicy food?? Definitely more towards the German's taste buds. As for KC he order Tong Ka Kai which was also Tom Yum but with coconut milk instead of my clear one and also a Thai Fried Rice which was infact glutinous rice and was rather amazing. Well the verdict is that the food was infact not bad at all and the price was also not too shabby as well, which honestly feels much better than the Monkey Nudel Bar we went last time in Frankfurt town. Oh yeah we both drank a local special brew of Apfel Wein which is also known as apple wine?? Which actually taste like a unsweetened apple soda but with alcohol content and it actually tasted pretty well. The whole eating process was peer pleasure as it was our first time in a long time eating proper food and getting properly full in the stomach compare to in working! It was satisfaction guaranteed!! Hahahahahaaha.... Consequently, after the meal we just headed home and tomorrow on Sunday which both me and KC are off, so we planned to go sight seeing in town whereby all the shops including the shopping malls are closed on Sundays. I dont know why but thats how it is in Frankfurt or whole of Germany I guess?? So more updates of my sight seeing the next post and hope you like the SNOW as much as I did in the previous post!! Tschus 8(^_^)8
P.S: I am finally getting my salary on MONDAY!! YEAH!! Zeil here I come!!

OMFG ITS SNOWING!!!!

Hello Guten Tag und Wie geht es dir die familie & freund & OH MY F***KING GOD ITS SNOWING OUT THERE!! Hahahaha..So lets begin the story of the day!
Today which is 25th of March at my time of 8 a.m. or so I woke up due to the fact I was having an early shift at 9. So, when I woke up with my blurry eyes I saw through the blinds of my window a rather unusual sight than it usually does from my daily scene. Therefore, I pulled up my blind and immediately in front of me, I saw a total of pure whiteness and heavy snow flakes falling from the sky! It was an entralling sight of amazement. I was standing in aw as I was stupendously happy to see SNOW which hardly comes by even so if you go travelling into cold countries at times. Well........ I did experience snow once or twice before in other countries but not as heavy or as big as the size of a cornflake as it is now for me in Bad Soden,Frankfurt. And my oh my as I checked my weather forecast it was -6 degrees celcius outside of my house, and at that very moment it came to my mind, definitely I have to wear another layer of clothing and socks to keep myself warm during my CYCLING journey back to work!! Damn thats the most intriguing part, as it has got to be the first time in my entire life cycling under a heavy snowing sky in the early morning of 8.30 a.m. and under the degrees celcius of -6!! Man you could never believe or any idea how it feels at that very moment!
On the other hand, the night before I had the late afternoon shift which started from 2 p.m. and ended at 11 p.m. So added another 20 minutes back to home I was approximately back home by 12?? Plus minus the time I gotta go change and so on from workwear to casual wear and yeah it wasnt much of a pleasant sleep after work and immediately now into the considerably early shift of the day of my work station as the saucier?? Doubt you would understand.
Back to the snow and while I was cycling along the road the snow got heavier and bigger in size and I was like practically steering the wheel with my face looking downwards all the time as when I look up the snow just hits my face and gets into my eyes causing an uneasy ride along the way. Not only that, and as I breathe through my mouth the snow just gets into it and melts, as if your face were stuck up into an Ice Kacang machine and your whole face were filled with ice or should I say snow. Easily I could have made snow cones right in my mouth with just simply lacking some syrup and flavourings only. LMAO!!
Anyhow along the way I took pics of the environment which was partially covered by snow and at the sametime feeling the coldness while stopping by to capture the scenery of 'snow white'. Minutes later, I finally arrived to the hotel and oh my god from top to toe I was practically covered in snow or more to ice as it froze along the way and stuck up on my jacket. For that, I will always remember in my mind of this 'white' journey to work but obviously a fun filled one.
Sadly, I couldnt enjoy more of this fantastic scenery and weather because in 15 minutes more I have to be ready and start work already. Besides that, even the locals said it was snowing for the first time throughout the winter period whithin this part of Frankfurt. So they too were happy to see snow! Well I have to say it has to be an experience eagerly hard to be forgotten of.
Oh well, guess thats about it at the moment. And actually I have already taken my journey back home from work at the night time to show the audcious darkness of the surrounding areas but due to the fact I am rather busy with work and also sort of lazy to compress the video file after work so hopefully by this weekends day off I get sometime to chillax and edit it and I will try to post it up asap for your viewing pleasure!!
P.S: The snow didnt last long enough though after I reach for work it stopped after about 3-4 hours or so and by the time I reach home after work everything was back to the origin of dullness. Yeah and hopefully the salary comes out this weekend!! Muahahahhaa!! Tschus 8(X_X)8

The view from my house after opening my blinds!

Another day and another day OFF!!

Hahaha so nothing much lately. Been busy working my ass off for the past week!! Finally got my day off on monday and tuesday but bear in mind that weekly my day off will vary. So, as long as you work 5 days you are off 2 days usually. Oh well so today I woke up about 10.30 my time in Germany and just lazing around and planned to skype with die familie (my family in German) but the line today was hell unstable and I dunno why so!! Its really frustrating at time talking in an unstable connection causing messages not able to send one way or another. Just turns you off when you expect to talk. Lolx.
Anyway after hours of trying and talking and potong stim we just finally stopped as I was suppose to meet KC at hotel and then off to the Main-Taunus Zentrum, which is similar to our Curve but bigger in size?! So I quickly cooked up mushroom and tomato beef fusili for lunch and off to Zentrum as we speak. We just had a walk around there seeing the shops and checking whats for sale as brands and items are already up for discounts or further reduction for the winter clothings, so just window shopping first till my salary is out?? Muahahahhaa....Besides that, we wanted to enquire about Vodafone and their packages on the pre-paid sim card here but I thought otherwise what for getting them when I am not even using to call anyone from local Germany and even for family is like SKYPE?? Anyhow still thinking about it deeply as you know I am close to being brankrupt cause of the LV Belt!! Hahhaahahaaha....
Moreover, after a while of walking we decided to sit down at this Tiziano Cafe where they sell Gelato aka Ice Cream but in an Italian flair. Well the whole feel of the shop is also Italianish. So I had a cup of Caramel Latte Macchiato and a scoop of Cookies & Cream Gelato which is rather different from the usual we have in KL. As for KC he had just a cup of Macchiato and a Choc & Mint Gelato. Well for those who havent tried it before eating Gelato in the open air of 5 degrees is rather interesting to feel in whole.
On the other hand I was also using my laptop at the cafe where we were sitting outside and more suspicious people were like looking at me and my laptop and also there were this 2 especially middle eastern men were standing right behind of me checking me out while sort of 'eating' gelato but all the time they were spying at me. I began to feel anxious but then after minutes of andrenalin terrification (is this even a word??) they left quietly in a awkward manner as if they know their cover has been blown and mission failed they left. Right after they left and as we were getting colder we shifted inside to the cafe and KC had a second round of eatery which he order a special style bruschetta from the cafe itself. We then sat for another 30 minutes and we left Zentrum and head back home as daylight as been eaten by the moon already.
Oh yeah one more thing is that Spring is coming along soon and the dried up trees and plain woodlands and slowly growing bacj their audacious look flowers as well as mother natures green. Hope Spring come faster as it wouldnt be as cold as it is now!! Enjoy a few pics below!! Lil Wil signing off.....Tschus!! =D
PS: Pics are from KC cam, forgotten to take mine out?! Maybe tomorrow then!! As well as you can see my hair colour is changing on its own again!! ROFL. 8(X_X)8

Yes! Zeil AGAIN!!

Well today the main purpose we went down there again is because KC wanna buy a quilted hoodie from H&M which he saw yesterday so he was quite hyped about it and woke up around 8ish I think and eventually I have to wake up as well as soon as possible to be an acquaintance to him. So as usual we had our breakfast at home and we immediately head off to Zeil! Well today was one gloomy day as it rained non-stop from beginning to end of the day. As we reach there we decided to walk into the malls that we havent venture into and see whats up. Then KC wanted to check out the messenger bag from North Face again which he still couldnt decide to buy anot, but as you know sales might drop anytime so patience is a virtue! Well good luck to him then. After that we went to a Japanese restaurant called Kamon which sounds similar to 'come on' to me!! Anyway to my surprise there were a lot of Japanese restaurants around town even more so than their own German pubs and delicacies. Besides that, we have been surveying all the Japanese restaurants around and only this specific Kamon serves ramen and other noodles. Well due to my budget constraint after the LV Belt I just had Shoyu Ramen which was honestly quite delicious compare to the Malaysian ones! It might be because of the better pork here for the soup and all but the ramen itself was splendid too!! Well as for KC he ate Tantanmen and an extra bowl of Wakame Udon, due to the fact he temporary has more money than me as he hasnt spend much on anything else YET!! Haahahahhaa
After the scrumptious meal we have to walk around under the rain and just roam around as we speak and into another mall which we havent been into!! In there we spotted alot of interesting stuff one of it was our tools for the kitchens and nice gorgeous KNIVES!! And the knives are from Kai!! Real nice indeed. On the other hand, we also have trouble sleeping due to the lousy pillow given to us so we decided to get a cheap pillow which we really did buy and costs us 9.95 euros. Already cheapest among the lot I must say? Today we left early as we had to work tomorrow. So once again Lil Wil signing off!! Tschus and have a nice day yourself!! Haiz....Cant wait for my salary to be out!! =(

2nd time to ZEIL!! In concession the second week of Monday!! =D

Hello guys its me again on another day off from work and another day venture down to the Zeil, Frankfurt. Well today was a gloomy day because it was having ocassional showers on and off which was rather disturbing and it also sorta delayed our day out to the Zeil as well?? So we decided to eat at home instead where we cooked up cabonara linguine for lunch. Well no pics on that as we were already late to go downtown. By the time we left our house it was like 12.10pm?! Moreover, it still take us another 20 minutes walk to the station. By 1.30pm or so we finally arrived at Zeil. Yet it was still having showers as what the weather forecast said and it was also rather cold today as well because of those irritating showers on and off!! Today we went out on a different exit of the Konstablerwache station which brings us further down of the street. But as we come out of the station we stumble upon a market or so like those sunday markets you see around on an empty and thats what we saw today in a German version. Therefore, we decided to stroll along and see what they are up for sale? Mostly like pasar malam stuffs?? From bags to, pockets knives to eatery of course!! And yes we once again went for those scrumptious sausages on a bun!! Somehow different from those regulra HOTDOGS!! Lol...It was too tempting not try and you will know why once you see the pics below!! =D
On the other hand, today we also decided to venture to different parts of the Frankfurt town as well as to find some chinese supermarket where KC at first has found them on Google map!! So we took our time and found both on different places and sell different stuff as well!! And on of the shop which is Wong's Asia-Latino store the owner was actually Malaysian and he said he was from Sungai Long and has been there for 20+ years man can u believe that?? My goodness a Chinese Malaysian to be more specific and he even hangs the Malaysian flag at his store with pride!! Hahahaha...As we continue discovering street we finally found the main store of Birkenstock in Germany and yes they do have those Davos I wanted and it was rather cheap when I saw the price even after conversion to RM!! Hahahaha...Definitely going to get them after my salary is out!! Hahaahha....
Continuously, we started to get a lil tired therefore we stopped by a place for coffee where the shop name was Tshobi or something I think which partly sell simple clothing as well as some good coffee!! As we stepped into the shop, luckily in time!! It suddenly began to rain like cats and dogs! Man we just took our times on our drinks as well as a chocolate-torte!! Which was rather chocolatie good. After that, again we went back to Carhartt to check whether they have other stuff for sale and for me AGAIN I bought another pair of slack pants which was on sale as well as it was nice and hard to find in KL as well!! From 79 euros to 31 euros!! Aint that a good deal again!! Sorry bro,mom and dad again!! Just couldnt resist as it was running out of sizes in a blink of an eye! Besides that, I also bought a short lanyard for my house keys which was like 5 euros only!! As for KC he bought some toys for his fetish toy collection back in KL.
Well after Carhartt we went looking around at shoes as KC was searching for some high top shoes that could suit him? So we went around Foot Locker, boutiques as well as the previous visited streetwear cultural shop?! After surveying KC had a few in mind as well as the sky was getting darker already!! And yet my target today was to GET the LV LIMITED EDITION MONOGRAMOUFLAGE belt at LOUIS VUITTON. After trying them on personally I really loved them and finally under no resistants BOUGHT the belt!! SORRY ONCE AGAIN TO ALL MY FAMILY MEMBERS!! AND YES I WILL HAVE TO STAY HOME UNTIL MY SALARY COMES OUT END OF THE MONTH OR ELSE.......YOU KNOW WHAT I AM SAYING!! Lolz....Well from what I see it was well worth every penny spent on it as it was the only place left to get this Limited Edition piece around the world and it is that limited that after my purchase there were only 3 pieces left IN THE WORLD!! Hhahaahha...Proudly to own my very FIRST LOUIS VUITTON!! You can call me L-VWIL!! Lolz....
Right after that it was like 7.30 already and we headed off to find a place to eat. As we were walking further away from Zeil and into another part of the city we saw this place called the MONKEY NUDELS BAR!! Which the sign board of the restaurant was rather interesting. Well since it was once again pouring on us we had no choice but to give it a shot and luckily the price range was within our budget. Well I ordered the signature dish which was part of the three monkeys and I ordered the middle one which was called Mikazaru (Glass Noodles with Chicken, Vegetables, Coconut Milk & Thai Curry). The taste was rather intriguing but well its my first curry dinner in Frankfurt and I must say it wasnt that bad at all. The place was even full house when we were there. The concept was a self service order but food will be brought to your table!! The place was kinda shabby and fits quite well with the food.
Once again after dinner as usual we take a slow walk back to the station and back to our warm sweet home!! Well we MIGHT be going down again tomorrow due to KC wanna get a Hoodie which he saw earlier today at H&M?? So it depends tomorrow whether we are heading down there again!! As for me I will be ONLY doing window shopping for the moment!! Hhahaahhaaha see ya'll folks and please do enjoy the pics of my LIMITED EDITION TAKASHI MURAKAMI MONOGRAMOUFLAGE BELT!!!
